If you don't have the "right" colour you need in your makeup kit don't be afraid to mix colours.. Improvisation is good 😉 I didn't have the red I needed so I mixed Lime crime Suedeberry with Tom Ford Flamingo to get the red I wanted. No filter used on this pic. Foundation is Bobbi Brown ❤️BB #bobbibrown # limecrime #tomford

Week 3 Foundation Trial - Chanel
Week 3 foundation trial - Chanel
Results - I tried 3 foundations from Chanel... Vitalumiere, Lift Lumiere and Perfection Lumiere
Vitalumiere- A natural cover and very lightweight foundation with moisturising properties. My skin felt like I wasn't wearing any makeup. Lovely foundation that gives a healthy, dewy, radiant look.
Perfection Lumiere- I don't usually wear oil free foundations as I find they can leave my skin feeling dehydrated. But I was pleasantly surprised by this one as it didn't feel like other oil free foundations. Very lightweight with a satin smooth finish and long wearing.
Lift Lumiere- although this foundation is a medium coverage I still felt like I wasn't wearing any. I really liked this foundation as it was moisturising and left my skin looking smooth and healthy. ( it also contains anti- ageing properties 😉) I don't usually set my foundations with a powder as I like a dewy look and find foundation is all I need. But, with this one I could choose to use a powder and still get a nice glow.
All the Chanel foundations I tried are very lightweight and have quite a natural finish. They also have a lovely smell and contain an SPF, I didn't have any trouble matching a colour and would wear these foundations again ❤️BB
Mascara
My latest Mascara obsession ❤️ I usually like the wands on the mascara to be medium to thick as I like volume as well as length. But the wand on this mascara is very thin so I was a bit sceptical with trying it. I'm glad I did ! I get amazing length and I can get every lash without painting my eyes with mascara ! ( I can get very messy with mascara & often need to have cotton tips on hand for the clean up )And for extra volume I just do extra coats..I'm really liking this L'Oreal mascara x

Obsessed with exfoliating !!
I'm a little obsessed with exfoliating at the moment ☺️so I tried this cleansing system from Olay & love it. I have never used a cleansing brush before and wanted to try give it a go.
Deep cleansing, exfoliating and using a cleansing brush are great ways to remove makeup. Also, if you wear sunblock you can get a build up on the skin which can lead to breakouts and dull looking skin. I found using this brush it really gave me a deep cleanse and left my skin feeling really clean. ( great prep for moisturising ) Ps... I am only using this brush every few days as it isn't good to over exfoliate either. ❤️BB

Clean your brushes :)
Beauties, a reminder to wash your brushes 😉 brushes can carry bacteria if not cleaned regularly and therefore can cause breakouts or eye irritations. I use Johnson's baby shampoo as it's very gentle but cleans the brushes nicely.
Ps. If you are sharing your brushes I would recommend using a gentle Antibacterial wash. ❤️BB

Makeup wipes
Hi Beauties, I sometimes like to use makeup wipes to cleanse my face if I'm feeling a little bit lazy, or after a long day. They are also fantastic to have when travelling, so quick and easy to use.
If you have been following my page you would know that I usually like to use the Napolean makeup wipes as I find them to be gentle and non drying on the skin.
Although, recently I have been using the kosmea wipes and have found them just as gentle on the skin and just as effective at a much cheaper price...Under $10 Budget Beauties happy shopping ❤️BB

Week 2 Foundation trial - Estée Lauder
Best time to moisturise
Beauties, the best time to moisturise your face & body is straight after you shower. This is when your pores are more open and therefore more receptive of the moisture you are putting back into the skin. Very beneficial if you have a dry skin :) ❤️BB
