Waist Training

Remember back in the day when the ladies used to wear corsets.. Well they seem to be making a come back.. Called waist training !! I have mixed views on this.. But to each there own 😉

I think they would be good for the ladies who need help with posture and abdominal strengthening and especially good for postnatal use.

Then of course there are some who take it too far !!! Trying to achieve a 12 inch waist ! 😁 which is extremely dangerous to internal organs etc.

> a little write up on the corset      What is  cincher waist Training? Waist training is a gradual process of waist reduction using a steel boned cincher. Also known as waist cinching or tight-lacing the practice came to prominence in Victorian times but has made something of a comeback in recent years. Wearing a tight-lacing corset, exercise and eating a healthy diet can radically reduce the waist of women.

Furthermore, the wearing of a cincher whilst undertaking a healthy diet helps reduce food volume intake by constricting the internal organs thus helping promote the healthier practice of smaller meals, more often, rather than three large meals a day.

Tight-lacing as a means of permanent waist-reduction and re-shaping is a practice requiring discipline and is best achieved when the following 3 components work in harmony:

Waist Cinching using a traditional steel-boned corset

Healthy Diet

Regular Exercise

  1. I think waist training is a great idea, if done in moderation and supplemented with proper diet and exercise. Without the last two, a corset or any waist training device would just be like putting a cast on a bone that would never heal. If it isn't hindering you from anything, a little waist training is definitely recommended for post-natal moms if they want to get back to their pre-pregnancy shape. Anyway, thank you for sharing that fascinating post. Stay beautiful!
